As founder and vice president of Hats Off to Chemo, Charlie Higgins is helping to build this solid, non-profit organization established to donate hats to children and adults undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Charlie, along with Tammy Burton, founded Hats Off to Chemo in September 1999 after being confronted with a friend's life-threatening cancer.
Along with founding Hats Off to Chemo, Charlie also holds a management position at Union Gas Limited. Charlie joined Union Gas Limited in 1970.
Charlie has assisted various charities including the Community Foundation of Greater Kingston and Ontario March of Dimes, as well as support roles for the Kingston chapter junior achievement ESIS program.
Charlie now resides in London, Ontario.
